Rotary Evaporator
Rotary evaporator is a vacuum thin‑film evaporation device commonly used in laboratories and the fine chemical industry. It is mainly applied for low‑temperature concentration, solvent distillation, material purification, waste liquid recovery and sample drying. The equipment forms a uniform material film by rotating the evaporation flask at a constant speed, lowers the boiling point of solvents under vacuum negative pressure, and adopts constant‑temperature water‑bath heating together with high‑efficiency condensation and recovery technology to achieve rapid low‑temperature evaporation of materials. Featuring low‑temperature operation, zero material carbonization, uniform concentration and high recovery rate, it is widely used in chemistry, pharmaceuticals, food, biology and environmental testing fields, and serves as standard equipment for sample pretreatment, purification and solvent recovery in laboratories.

Details
The rotary evaporator operates on the principle of vacuum negative‑pressure low‑temperature distillation combined with thin‑film evaporation. A motor drives the evaporation flask to rotate continuously, forming an extremely thin liquid material film on the flask wall, which greatly enlarges the heating area. The vacuum system reduces the internal pressure and the boiling point of the solvent, enabling rapid vaporization of materials at low temperatures. Vapors are quickly liquefied by a high‑efficiency condenser and flow into the receiving flask for solvent recovery. This process accomplishes concentration, purification and separation of materials, and perfectly protects heat‑sensitive materials from high‑temperature damage.
